In the beginning, you don’t know how to use it, but gradually you start exploring it. It’s not bad, but as time passes, you become too involved in it. And once you become familiar with it, you may observe that sometimes it distracts you from your important tasks that need priority attention.

Children or people who have weak mental abilities sometimes fail to distinguish between reality and imagination. When they watch or read bad news, this information consistently preoccupies their thoughts. Consequently, it impacts their mental abilities and makes them feel negative about themselves.

This can be harmful, especially for children who don’t know what content is useful and what is harmful. As you may have observed, many kids nowadays spend more time playing video games indoors than being outside. This impacts their physical development; in fact, they lose the value of playing ground sports, opportunities for forging bonds with new friends and the experience of playing together.

3. It Promotes Sedentary Behavior

People who seek entertainment and something interesting and when they use social media platforms for fun, this can urge them to develop the habit of it. Once the habit is formed, it can make them lazy to do other important work that is more significant than watching content online. This can impact their cognitive capabilities due to the high dose of dopamine (fun and pleasure).

This ongoing tossing of “perfection” reveals the harsh truth of excessive beauty standards, particularly among younger women.

Social media can become a breeding ground for evil. The news may be filled with drama, arguments and hostility. Too much time spent in this region might depress and upset you. Be attentive to what you consume and choose to have a positive, healthy balance.
